Review: Nivea Mattifying Day Care Face moisturizer for combination to oily skin

Hello! So I figured that a set topic every day wasn't going to work for me because it's to structured, so I'm just going to go with the flow :)

So today I'm going to review the Nivea Mattifying Day Care face moisturizer for combination to oily skin.

Here's what it looks like:

And here's the bottle itself:

It has a very smooth texture, not too watery or too oily.

It has a pleasant smell, not very strong at all. It soaked into my skin straightway, and made it nice and matte for the whole day. It didn't leave any residue, and didnt clog my pores either. The amount on my hand above is all I needed for my whole face, so it'll last me a while, which is good. It was amazing value for money, and I really like it :)

Wednesday Wants #1

Introducing a new theme for blog posts on Wednesdays. I'm going to try to post a little every day for the whole summer (Shocker, I know!)

I'm going to try really hard though, and the theme for Wednesdays will be Wednesday Wants, inspired by amilliondresses posts. It's basically where I tel you what I want to buy/am dreaming of buying that week.

Here we go!

So this week I'm really in love with this dress:

It's the chiffon dress with skinny belt, and I am in LOVE with the colour! It's so pretty, and it's not too low cut, but my only issue is the length. I don't know if I would feel comfortable in a dress that short...

Next is this hi-low black dress:
The embroidered collar shirt dress with belt is a really pretty dress too, but not one I think I could pull off. I need to get some more casual dresses, because it's summertime now and I can't keep wearing winter clothes!

I am in love with these shoes:

They are absolutely gorgeous! They are the mirrored platform pumps from Forever 21, and I'm definitely going to have to get these!

Next are these gladiator sandals:

I've been looking for a pair of coloured gladiator sandals for the longest time (since 7th grade), and I think I've found some!

I also really like this peplum shirt:
I don't think I'd suit peplum shirts, but this one is pretty. If I wanted to give them a go then this is probably the one I'd go with.

I can totally see Zoe (Zoella) wearing this:

It's so pretty!

I love these wedge sneakers but I could never bring myself to buy them because they're $80...:

So cool! :)

I also really like these converse (represent my home!):

If I was tanned instead of pale, I'd totally buy this skirt:
It'd look so pretty with a great tan.

These would go with the converse ;) :

I also really love this dress, it's very cute and lacy:

It seems that I'm really into mint at the moment :)

So that's it for today, talk to you tomorrow!

Review: Wet n Wild Cream Eyeshadow Pencil in Pixie

Hello! Two blog posts in one day!!! :D

Today I'm going to do a review of the Wet n Wild Cream Eyeshadow Pencil in the colour Pixie.
It's a very pretty cream/champagne colour, with some shimmer.

And here is a closeup:

It is REALLY smooth, not scratchy or anything, and is suprisingly pigmented when swatched:
Unfortunately, that colour does not transfer well onto the eyelids, and I found it creased quite quickly, so even though it's a cream, I'd probably want to wear it with a primer.

This product could also be used as a base, which would be lovely, or as a highlighter in the inner corner (I'll make another post about it when I've tried that) :)

2/5

Talk to you later!

Music Monday #3!

Hello! I am SOOO sorry it's been ages since I've done a music monday... :( Now that school's over (just got closings to go!) I should be uploading WAY more frequently!! Yay!

My first song for this week is One Thing by One Direction. I have rediscovered their live iTunes performance EP, and I especially like this one :)

The next song I've been liking is Cosmic Love by Florence and the Machine, from the album Lungs.

Next is The Fray's How to Save a Life, it's been a favourite of mine for ages, my friend and I sang it all the time together.

I am also really enjoying James Arthur's version of Impossible. He has an incredible voice, and I think he'll go far.

I've recently discovered the band The Hurts, and I especially like Guilt. It's so sad!

That's it for this week guys! Talk to you soon!
